Tips for Preserving Your Abayas, Jilbabs, Robes, Khimars<\/strong><\/h5>
  • Use only the minimal amount of detergent needed to prevent the fabric color from fading over time.<\/li>
  • For dark colored fabrics, it is preferred to use a detergent that is specially designed for dark colored fabrics.<\/li>
  • Zip up all zippers and secure any snaps before washing your abaya, and don’t forget to check those pockets for any forgotten items!<\/li>
  • If your abaya is only soiled in only one spot, spot wash instead of washing the whole garment.<\/li>
  • If you are machine washing on a delicate cycle, wash with other abayas or separately.<\/li>
  • Hang your abayas on a clothes hanger to dry which will minimize wrinkles.<\/li><\/ul>

    • Use only the minimal amount of detergent needed to prevent the fabric colour from fading over time.<\/li>
    • For dark colored fabrics, it is preferred to use a detergent that is specially designed for dark colored fabrics.<\/li>
    • If you are machine washing on a delicate cycle, wash with other hijabs or niqabs of the same\/similar fabric and weight.<\/li>
